Marc I. Schiller, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Marc I. Schiller graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and continued on to Columbia University College of Dental and Oral Surgery, where he received his Orthodontic training. He has over 20 years experience as a practicing Orthodontist and has been on the faculty at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
George Pliakas, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. George Pliakas was born and raised in New York City attended the Bronx High School of Science. After earning his bachelor's degree with a major in biology from Harvard University and a Master of Science degree, also in biology, from Tufts University, Dr. Pliakas returned to New York for dental school and his orthodontics training, both at Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine, where he earned the degrees of Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in orthodontics. He has excelled throughout his training, having received numerous honors and awards, including being on the Dean's List at Harvard, a full tuition scholarship for his master’s at Tufts, induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the National Dental Honor Society), and the Highest Academic Achievement Award for being first in his dental school class at Columbia.
In his free time, Dr. Pliakas explores all that New York has to offer - its parks, museums, and fine restaurants. He is a supporter of all New York sports teams, though in the postseason, his allegiances lie with the Yankees and Giants. He is an avid traveler and, as a fan of international soccer, has been to the World Cup in Germany in 2006, and hopes to go to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup.
